During the summer, I have been running a drawing class in Freshwater. A small group of friends invited me to teach them basic drawing techniques and we have been meeting every week until the new lockdown and wintry weather forced us to put them on hold but I hope to be able to start these classes again as soon as it is safe. We’ve been meeting in some beautiful gardens which we’ve used as the theme of our sketches as well as trips to Fort Victoria, Newtown and Freshwater Bay to practise.
Still mosaic-making at home
Meanwhile, many students have been busy creating some beautiful mosaics during the lockdown and at the short course I ran during September and October. Here are some photos of their work.
Hope for the spring
If you’re interested in coming along to a drawing, mosaic or printing course in the spring when hopefully the restrictions will have eased, please contact me as soon as possible as places will be limited.
